The Art and Science of Selling Online

When I think about the list of "things" I have sold, it is a long list.
I have even made a profit on some of the things I have sold.
How about you?
How are you doing with selling stuff...and making an actual-factual profit?
When asked how he got rich, the old immigrant answered in his broken English,"Simple. I buy for one dollar, I sell for two dollars."
So, there is our first principal:
Whatever it is that you are selling, you have to make a profit or you will go out of business.
Sure, Bub, I can get you in the door, and make it irresistible, and SELL you...
BUT if I don't make a profit...bye bye French Fry: I won't have a door to use to get you inside that door.
But Robert, what about "loss leaders?"
ANSWER: Yes. No. Maybe.
The Old Master told me to ask questions...and NOT the kind that prompt ONLY a one word answer.
EXAMPLE: "What is it about this that you don't like?"
The principal being used here is:
Find out what the person is thinking, and get the objections out in the open.
When you ask a question, shut up, and LISTEN...and wait until the words have stopped...really stopped.

The process of making a sale is based on gathering up your courage and asking for the sale.
So, what is the worst thing that can happen when you ask someone, "Do you want to buy this?"
The worst thing that can happen is you will hear the word, "NO!"

Sell To Damn Near Anybody
Okay, I am just getting started.
Thing is, if you want to sell something, you need somebody to sell it to.
This means you have to go out there and find buyers.
Oh, about when somebody tells you, "NO!" Keep this next bit firmly in mind: NO is not necessarily forever. Today's NO can turn into tomorrow's YES.
Another part of this is how the NO can beat you down. What is really true about the NO is...every NO gets you that much closer to your next YES.
This is a great truth in sales and selling.
For you to make a sale, somebody has to buy from you.
Makes sense.
For somebody to buy from you, something has to be sold to the somebody.
Yes, makes sense...so far.
Have you ever had a garage sale?
Put stuff on display. Maybe put some signs up saying, "Garage Sale!"
You ever been to a store and bought something?
Have you ever bought a car?
Maybe you've sold a car.
If you are reading this I bet you've bought something from somebody at sometime.
When you buy something, you're being sold something...usually the same thing.
You ever notice how good you feel when you know you paid a really good price for something? How good you feel when you got a bargain.
Let's split that word "bargain" into two: Bar Gain.
Maybe that word has some roots in the word "barter."
Maybe.
At a garage sale it is common to negotiate for a better price.
When you go and buy a car...same thing. It is typical to make an offer.
Same when you buy a house.
So what happened at the store?
Well, I know people (not many) who offer less than the sticker price...even at the store.

That is one area to focus on...think about what problems people have...and then give them a real-deal solution.
And sometimes this really does mean digging deep...and getting creative and intelligent...and doing this:
Let's take this one step further, and add this concentrated sales poem into your consciousness:
What does this mean in a practical sort of way?
Is this nothing more than a nice turn of phrase...where are the how-to instructions on how-to get rid of the box?
This is NOT over...no, no, no...lot's more to come on this specific subject of selling online.
Get ready to stretch your idea about how to sell online.
This next bit gets into the place you are coming from.
Everything you do comes from your thoughts and feelings.
Some of this is primal stuff...instinct...reaction...quick.
I am going to ask you to try some very far-out stuff...a way of performing action established in a simple state of awareness.
But first, take a look at this article about what happens to the brain when you focus on selling out...selling out your own precious values...to get whatever it is you think trumps your values. And what happens to the brain when you stay steady on what is important to you...and do NOT sell out.
This is what appeals to many people about having an online business: Sales on autopilot.
Yet the big fat "NO!" is going to happen. People who end up at your online offer are NOT going to buy. And you need to understand why so that you can improve your online sales...right?

After talking it over with a Big Thinker, and jotting down the basic points...I have this to offer you about The Box, and getting rid of The Box:- Most of us can't do it cuz we are so caught up in NOT taking on our own inner-power;
- The people who do have a lot of success attribute their success cuz of the system they are using, NOT the fact that they are powerful attractors of the success they expect;
- So, to get rid of the box means you have to get into your own powerful reality of being an attractor of success to you;
- This might mean you start to believe that you deserve success, that you are worthy of living the life you want to live;
- Hey, don't shoot the piano player, I am only the messenger;
